Welcome to the Murwillumbah district on the far north coast of NSW. I am Phil Youngblutt, President of the Murwillumbah District Business Chamber.
Whether you live in the region or are thinking of visiting our beautiful valley, let me tell you why the Murwillumbah district is a great place to shop and do business.

Location

Murwillumbah is just 20 minutes south of Gold Coast Airport, 30 minutes from Byron Bay, an hour from the Gold Coast and less than two hours from Brisbane. We are the gateway to five World Heritage Parks.

Shopping

Murwillumbah combines the best of country and city shopping. We have branches of many of the major retail chains as well as scores of small independent shops and restaurants. Many of our local businesses are featured on our Members page.
What Murwillumbah and surrounding villages do not have is paid parking or traffic gridlock - in fact we do not have or need a single traffic light in town.

Business

With a rapidly growing market and a uniquely peaceful lifestyle, Murwillumbah is a unique place to set up your business. If you are thinking of establishing your company here, contact us for help.

Joining your new Chamber

Already in business in Murwillumbah? If you have not yet joined your new Chamber you are missing out. Did you know Membership has trebled since the new Board took over in June 2005? I have slashed membership to $49.50 a year and that includes a free web site. To find out more click here.
